"Veteran picnic" on the banks of the Dnipro

On a warm Friday afternoon, our partners and friends, the "Oriental Star" Foundation, International "Renaissance" Foundation, "Next Step Ukraine", "Revived Soldiers Ukraine" and we, the “Pislya Sluzhby” (After Service) Fund, gathered our veterans and their families for a "Veteran's Picnic" in X- the park. We all dream of creating a veteran community, a space not for official events, but for communication and friendly support, where everyone will speak the same language, to introduce our veterans to each other.

"The Kum" band met the guests with a lively performance. After chatting, getting to know each other and taking the first photos, our guests had light snacks. They chose their activity - some socializing with relatives and families, some active entertainment on the water - paddleboarding and catamaran or playing pétanque.

The official part included motivational speeches by our managers of good deeds: Yulia Goncharova, Natalya Lyutikova, Tetyana Grubenyuk and Valentina Kalinovska and also invited artists and servicemen Akhtem Seitablayev, Lena Lyagushonkova, Gennadiy Udovenko, Yurii Matsarskyi, Artem Moroz.
Roman Matsyuta concluded the official part with an energetic concert.

This day together was warm, fun, and full of good emotions and meetings. We plan to continue the series of Veterans Picnics to the best of our ability.
