5 Tips for Job Searching

According to a survey conducted during the last "Happy Hours" club meeting, 32% of military personnel are concerned that they won't be able to find a job after their service. Approximately half of the military personnel, after returning to civilian life, contemplate retraining, acquiring new skills, and pursuing employment in a completely different field.

So, how can you determine which job is suitable for you?

  1. Don't be afraid to submit your resume for a job, even if you doubt your qualifications. If you meet at least the basic criteria, go for it!
  2. Choose a field that you are passionate about. The key to success in life and work is doing something that truly makes sense to you.
  3. Honestly assess your strengths and weaknesses for the position you've chosen.
  4. Don't be afraid of hearing "no" from employers. Evaluate your experiences after interviews and keep searching.
  5. Never stop learning.

Charity Foundation «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) provides assistance with requalification. Veterans and military personnel can choose courses they prefer, and our Foundation will cover the cost of their education or retraining. To do this, you need to register on our website.
