Visit of the «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) Foundation team to a Conference in London

On October 13-14th, the scientific Conference «Out of War: Global Insights on Reintegration to Support Strategies for Ukraine's Front-Line Returnees» organized by the Corioli Institute, London School of Economics, and Trust After Betrayal project was held in London.

This event was dedicated to the full-scale war in Ukraine, the problems and needs of veterans and their integration into civilian life.

During the Conference, there were many interesting presentations by speakers from 17 countries worldwide, as well as important discussions on the topics related to veteran’s policy and the importance of reforming the system of integration of veterans after their service.

Halyna Morar, the Director of the «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) Foundation, shared insights about our Foundation's activities, spoke about the realities, in which Ukrainian servicemen and veterans live, and invited the participants of the Conference to visit Ukraine for knowledge exchange. Ms. Halyna also emphasized the importance of international support and asked her colleagues from around the world to raise Ukraine-related issues at all international events. After all, the global community should not forget that our military is fighting for the common victory of the entire civilized world!

Conference participants expressed their thoughts, advice, and support, offered development strategies and their consulting. Some of them expressed the initiative to cooperate in the field of adaptation of veterans and their families.
