Meeting to Support Families of Fallen Soldiers

On October 24, the director of our Foundation Halyna Morar met with the President of the international organization TAPS, Bonnie Carroll, along with the coordinator of TAPS partner programs Fatma Megrahi and the director of the TAPS-Ukraine foundation Yulia Dmytrova in the office of «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service).

The main mission of TAPS is to assist families who have experienced military loss by providing them with psychosocial support and creating a community of like-minded people.

Together we discussed our current projects for military families and ways to support those who have lost family members.

The meeting was attended by representatives of families of fallen military, including wives and mothers, Tetyana Kalyuzhna and Yulia Movchan, and our partners, working with these families, such as the Chair of the NGO «Strong Ukrainian Mother» Viktoria Kravchuk, and the Chair of the NGO «United Family of Donbas» Halyna Brazhnyk.

Relatives of veterans told about the exhibition of paintings, created by wives, brides and mothers of fallen servicemen as part of the charitable art therapy project «Alive. Real Love Stories», and shared their love stories.

We believe that by joining our efforts with the TAPS-Ukraine Foundation, we can provide even more support to families who have experienced military loss and become a real source of strength for them.
