Meeting with the families of wounded and fallen defenders from the «Lyut» Brigade in Zhytomyr

On March 30th, at the Veterans' House in Zhytomyr, the first of a series of planned meetings took place. «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service), «Lyut» United Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine and the Coalition of Veteran Spaces met the families of wounded and fallen defenders from the «Lyut» Brigade in Zhytomyr. The meeting was organized to introduce service providers to the families.

Representatives of the departments of veteran policy of Zhytomyr and regional councils, the departments of social protection and healthcare, the department of veterans' affairs, as well as the Heads of medical and rehabilitation institutions in Zhytomyr, Berdychev, Yemilchyne, Ovruch and others, spoke. Representatives of the State Employment Center and the Social Protection Department were also present.

After the formal meeting we and «Lyut» servicemen communicated with the families, discussing problems they face. They are not alone in their hard times, and we, all of us - brothers in arms, volunteers, veterans, society, local community case managers - we are all ready and willing to support them in any way necessary. They gave the country the most precious thing in their lives and we will do everything to thank them and provide maximum support.
