The wife of an injured soldier approached us for assistance in recovering documents. Her husband has been unconscious for six months and was initially hospitalized in Dnipro but has now been transferred to Kyiv.
Help is needed in the recovery of lost evacuation documents. Among them are the Disability Certificate, Social Benefits, and financial support from the military unit, which has not been received since the injury.
The funds are needed for diagnosis, surgery, procurement of care products, and special nutrition. Thanks to an individualized and no-time-wasted approach, our partners from the Viside Law Association immediately got to work. The following scope of work was preliminarily agreed upon: collecting documents related to mobilization and military service by the client; formulating a legal defense position (representation) of the client's interests in judicial authorities, state, and other enterprises, institutions, organizations (regardless of ownership form) regarding the implementation of defense and representation of the client's interests; obtaining documents, submitting applications, documents, and complaints; handling cases in all governmental bodies, as well as institutions, enterprises, and organizations regardless of ownership form.
Several legal requests have been carried out at this stage, and responses have already been received from the hospital where the soldier receives treatment from the Department of Health. As a result, the injured soldier has been assigned a permanent disability category 1A. However, we are still waiting for responses from the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center regarding the issuance of duplicate documents for proper registration of the serviceman. The situation's complexity lies in the fact that the soldier is currently in critical condition and unable to sign documents. Therefore, the wife must obtain authorization to represent her husband legally. Otherwise, certain documents cannot be provided to anyone other than the soldier himself.
We are waiting for any further developments in this case. Unfortunately, restoring all documents will require additional time, considering the state of war in the country and other circumstances complicating the process of documentary registration.
