Legal Aid for veteran Oleksandr

Oleksandr Shvachka, call sign “Vovk”, is a hero who went through the fire of war and found a new meaning in life through sports. In 2015, Oleksandr joined the 79th Airmobile Brigade, where he performed missions in the Donetsk sector. After the outbreak of the full-scale invasion in 2022, he again stood up to defend Ukraine as part of the 95th Brigade.

He lost his leg as a result of the battle for Makariv. After amputation and difficult rehabilitation, Oleksandr did not break down. His participation in competitions, including setting a world record in adaptive strongman, became an example of unbreakability for other veterans. Today, Oleksandr continues to motivate veterans to live an active life, encouraging them to join sports to regain faith in themselves and their abilities.

Oleksandr turned to the charitable foundation “After Service” for legal assistance in obtaining documents from the unit and recalculating payments. The Fund supported him by engaging lawyers to resolve these issues.

As a result, Oleksandr received the necessary statements, and the payments for one month were recalculated. In addition, the lawyers helped him draft a lawsuit.
