We are often asked about our methods of communication with veterans. We utilize various approaches: some visit us in person, while others we visit, and we correspond with some via text or voice. We also connect with them through video calls, checking in to see how they're doing and what's new.
Our case managers, known as "Pislya Sluzhby" case managers, consistently maintain contact with our veterans, even if it's just for a brief conversation about their current situation or future plans.
Despite their serious injuries and the long road to recovery, our Heroes inspire us and share positive energy.
Let's take Maxim, for instance. He is a defender of Azovstal, a man who didn't lose hope after being captured and injured. He possesses strength, future aspirations, dreams, and a vision of uniting volunteers and veterans for the betterment of our country. We stand by each veteran every step of the way, offering support in all aspects to achieve positive outcomes.
Through a video link, you can witness how we communicate with Maxim, listening to his updates and his plans for the future, even though it's extremely challenging for him.
Maxim has suffered severe injuries, including a maxillofacial injury. Currently, he requires extensive treatment and rehabilitation, such as reconstructive surgery for a portion of his jaw and tongue in order to regain normal speech. He is presently in a hospital in Odesa, awaiting further operations, made possible by the support and funding from the Heart of Azovstal project.
Once he recovers, Maxim intends to venture into agriculture and aims to develop a business plan for his own agricultural business. This becomes another task for "After the Service" and our partners: to assist Maxim in this endeavor and bring him closer to success.
We extend our gratitude to our partners and the doctors who, together with us, support the defenders of Ukraine.
