The Pencil Drawing Workshop is an instructional session where participants were shown techniques and approaches to pencil drawing that help create impressive artwork.
Artist and volunteer Lyudmyla Romanenko conducted the workshop, covering several different topics:
Therapeutic (meditative) drawing: a powerful method for stress relief and managing emotions, combating anxiety and aggression, and cultivating positive emotions by creating small ornaments (drawings) composed of simple lines and dots using a regular pencil on paper.
This creative workshop aimed to teach how to distance oneself from the stream of anxious thoughts (reacting non-reactively to the content of thoughts) and practice focusing attention regardless of external stimuli, i.e., drawing small ornaments, thereby tuning thoughts for 5-10 minutes, which enhances cognitive functions.
Workshops by "Pislya Sluzhby" can benefit beginners and experienced artists looking to improve their skills. Participants can receive valuable advice and knowledge from professional artists, as well as discover new ideas and inspiration for their own drawings.
