The Corioli Institute has just published the project report "Between Frontline and Home Front" on the reintegration of veterans in Ukraine. This project analyses the challenges faced by Ukrainian veterans and their families after the war, particularly in the areas of mental health, medical care and economic opportunities.
The aim of this project is to improve strategies to support the reintegration of veterans and improve their well-being and social cohesion in the context of Ukraine's post-war reconstruction. The project also offers recommendations for policy makers, professionals and researchers on effective approaches to addressing the challenges faced by veterans and their families.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Corioli Institute, the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation (UVF) of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs (MoVA), the Ukrainian Women Veteran Movement (UWVM), and IREX for their fruitful work, for support of Ukrainian veterans, and contribution to improving policies that support Ukraine's defenders in their reintegration into civilian life.
The "Pislya Sluzhby" (After Service) Foundation had an opportunity to actively engage veterans in this project, and we are grateful for their contribution. Their experience played a key role in creating evidence-based strategies for successful veterans' reintegration in Ukraine.
