The Foundation "Pislya Sluzhby" has successfully concluded its two-month project, which involved a psychological group specifically designed for women awaiting the return of their loved ones from war.
While men find comradeship and support during times of war, women often feel isolated with their experiences. This project aimed to create a supportive space for women and girls who share similar thoughts, doubts, and emotions while waiting for their loved ones to return from the war.
The participants expressed their happiness in finding a sense of belonging and understanding, knowing that they are not alone and that their feelings are acknowledged and valued within the group.
The participants had the opportunity to meet on a weekly basis for two months, both as a group with a psychologist and for individual consultations. The program included art therapy sessions, support groups for those who have lost loved ones, and guidance on action plans and support in challenging situations.
Led by experienced psychologists, the participants were able to openly share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with others who were going through similar emotions. This fostered a supportive environment for mutual understanding, problem-solving, and personal growth, which is crucial for the psychological well-being of women awaiting the return of their soldiers.
The main objective of the project was to equip participants with skills in emotional self-regulation, stress management, and building healthy relationships. The program aimed to help families understand their needs, maintain positive energy, and cultivate a positive mindset during this crucial period. Additionally, the project provided psychological support, strategies for managing emotions and trauma, individual assistance, and access to informational resources.
Announcements about new groups will be made on the foundation's social media platforms and website. Interested individuals are encouraged to subscribe to the "Pislya Sluzhby" Foundation's Facebook, Instagram and Telegram pages for updates.
