Representatives of the “Pislya Sluzhby” Foundation took part in the conference of the Public Organisation “Pryncyp”, in order to discuss urgent issues related to the needs and visions of the future for the wounded servicemen. Special attention was paid to passing the Military Medical Commission (MMC) and Medical-Social Expert Commission (MSEC).
Passing the MMC and MSEC are the key issues for the soldiers, who got wounded in the line of duty. These procedures help to determine the degree of disability and allocate the needed medical and social support.
Advisor to the Ministry of Defence, who was present at the conference, presented the project of digitalization of the MMC. It provides the introduction of the e-documents for remote submission and receipt of MMC documents between healthcare facilities, military units and Territorial centers of recruitment and social support. It will allow convenient and quick processing of the documentation without the need to meet the representatives of the institution face to face.
Another important aspect of the conference was introducing the new project of support for soldiers, who were wounded and are in the situation where they do not know what to do and how to pass the MMC. Using the website turbota.mil.gov.ua, every soldier can find the needed answers and to become familiar with the important information. A hotline 0 800 500 442 is also available, where every serviceman can ask for help and get answers to their questions.
In addition in the app “Джура” servicemen are able to leave complains about inaction and unfair conclusion of the medical personnel, as well as careless treatment in military units. New statistics will be developed based on these complaints as well as inspections will be assigned to the people responsible for this.
Passing the MSEC turned out to be another important topic of discussion. This process requires a lot of attention and time in order for changes, which will allow for more effective and fair procedure and adequate evaluation.
The introduction of digitalization of the MMC and the “Джура” app will help to solve some of the urgent issues, which veterans face. This is another step in support and recognition of the fact that service to the county should be accompanied by the proper care for its heroes.
