Our veterans at the US - Ukraine Summit 2025

Recently, our veterans Volodymyr Kharchenko and Andrii Kucher returned from the United States, where they represented the Ukrainian veteran community at the US - Ukraine Summit 2025. This trip was more than just a visit. It was a space for dialogue, understanding, and sharing of experience.

Volodymyr and Andrii met with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora, as well as non-governmental and veteran organizations, to share their personal stories, combat experiences, and the challenges of transitioning back to civilian life.

We believe that it is veterans who have the moral right and the strength to speak the truth, through lived experience, real events, and human stories.

This visit was made possible thanks to the support of the International Renaissance Foundation, and we are truly grateful for the trust and collaboration.

Today, Ukrainian veterans are not only returning from the frontlines, they are returning to life, and paving the way for rehabilitation, adaptation, and supporting others along the way. We are proud that the voices of our heroes are being heard on the international stage.
