Today, we want to share the story of Victor — a true Hero who has been defending Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion in February 2022. Victor took part in fierce battles in the Zaporizhzhia direction and holds the status of a combatant (UBD).
Unfortunately, war never leaves anyone untouched. In 2023, Victor sustained several injuries and had all the necessary documentation confirming them, including a Form 6 certificate. However, in 2024, he was wounded again, with his injuries confirmed by Form 100 and Form 5 medical certificates. Due to his health condition, Victor was declared partially fit for service and was transferred to another military unit.
Now, as Victor is undergoing a medical commission for discharge, he has encountered an unexpected obstacle: he is being asked to provide a Form 6 certificate for 2024. The problem is that he has already been transferred from the unit where he was wounded, and his request for the certificate has gone unanswered.
This situation is deeply unfair. A soldier who sacrificed his health to defend his country should not have to battle bureaucracy.
We could not leave Victor alone with this problem. Our foundation quickly mobilized our legal team, who immediately took on the case. Thanks to their professional and persistent work, we were able to obtain the required Form 6 certificate for Victor!
This is yet another reminder of how crucial support is for our defenders — especially when they face such challenges.
