Thanks to the assistance of a donor from Denmark, the «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) Foundation paid the bill for the implant for military serviceman Dmytro, who is a hero of the #ЛІКАРІ_ДЛЯ_ГЕРОЇВ project.
Dmytro is 30 years old and lives in Zaporizhzhia region. Before the full-scale invasion, he worked as a driver at a bread factory. On December 22th, 2022, he was mobilized for military service. He is engaged, after Dmytro's recovery, the couple plans to get married.
On February 27th, 2023, Dmytro received a mine-explosive injury during combat operations in the city of Bakhmut.
On June 27th, 2023, the soldier was operated under the guarantee of the «Eastern Star» Foundation.
An individualized patient-specific implant for the endoprosthesis of the temporomandibular joint, complete with screws for fixation and a 3D-printed anatomical model was modeled and manufactured for Dmytro.
