Oleksandra has been an active-duty military since 2016.
Sasha met a full-scale war in Mariupol, while serving in the State Border Guard Service.
Also she was at Azovstal, from where she was captured. Fortunately, she was later released.
Oleksandra has higher legal education. In the nearest plans of the military - to apply for postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law in order to help and support the military in the future. One of the university entrance exams is the English language.
Oleksandra asked our Foundation for assistance in learning a foreign language. «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) agreed to help and covered her individual language training at the «Speak Up» language school.
Oleksandra has two more classes left to complete the course. Sasha is very satisfied with her studies!
In addition to educational courses, the military woman participated in a pottery master class, organized by the Foundation. Also she intends to attend our «Monday English Speaking Club» to reinforce the knowledge obtained in «Speak Up».
