Before the full-scale invasion Valeriy was involved in martial arts, was interested in self-help techniques and massage therapy for injuries.
On April 24th, 2022 he enlisted for service. He participated in battles in eastern Ukraine, including Bahmut.
During his service he fell seriously ill with pneumonia, leading to other health complications. As a result, he received a disability status of Group 3 and was discharged from service six months ago.
Valeriy decided to utilize his experience and knowledge to professionally train as a masseur. He reached out to «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) Veterans Fund for assistance in financing his massage courses.
Now, having improved his skills and obtained a certificate of successful completion of the courses, Valeriy is ready to embark on a new chapter in his life and fulfill his dream of opening his own massage business to help people restore their health.
