Anatolii served as a squad commander in the 56th Brigade, 39th Special Rifle Battalion, separate machine gun platoon.
In December 2023, while on duty in the Kherson direction, he was severely wounded. Shrapnel embedded in his pelvis injured the sciatic nerve, leaving his right leg non-functional. He now moves with crutches and has group II disability, but his goal is to restore motion and walk again.
