From 1994th to 2019th Sergiy served as a military personnel.
On February 22nd, 2022 he was mobilized for service, from where he was discharged due to health reasons (disabled of the second group) in May 2023.
He takes a very active position in life and has organized a local sports group for people with disabilities. The members of his group took part in the «Invictus Games» and international competitions.
In the future he wants to assist veterans after service with psychological rehabilitation. For this purpose he actively studies at three universities and gains practical experience. He is studying at the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Institute of Educational Problems, specializing in Psychology.
He has also completed training to become a case manager and a course on entrepreneurship.
Sergiy turned to «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) for help in learning English. The Fund paid for his education at the "English Prime" language school and Sergiy improved his English to the desired level.
Currently, Sergiy together with the local administration is in the process of opening a hub for veterans in Chernihiv.
