Career Counseling in Rehabilitation Centers

We are proud to announce that our Pislya Sluzhby (After Service) Veterans’ Fund has launched a new project that we had been preparing since last year — career counseling in rehabilitation centers.

The first center to take part in this initiative was the "Oberig" Clinic’s Rehabilitation Center. As part of a joint event of the Pislya Sluzhby and the Kyiv Employment Center, we held our first career counseling sessions for our defenders currently undergoing treatment at "Oberig" Clinic’s rehabilitation center.

There were many questions, and once again, we realized just how crucial this support is. We discussed employment opportunities after military service, education and retraining programs, grants for starting a business, job search assistance, and the various services offered by both the Employment Center and Pislya Sluzhby Charitable Foundation.

The consultations were conducted by our case manager, Oleksandr Vitsan, and Iryna, a representative from the Kyiv Employment Center — both leading sessions back-to-back consultations in separate buildings. Eighteen wounded service members and veterans attended to listen and get their questions answered. Additionally, we personally visited those who were unable to move and held consultations right in their hospital rooms.
