Kyrylo Sergiyovych Dolhopol is a twenty-eight-year-old intelligence officer of the Kraken military unit.
History of the injury
On March 1, 2022, during an artillery attacks of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kyrylo was seriously injured. As soon as he enlisted for service, he was immediately struck by a cruel blow of fate - a shell hit the building where he was staying. This resulted in a severe diagnosis of traumatic brain injury and organic personality disorder, which radically changed his life. Kyrylo was the status of а person with war-related disabilities of the I group.

Rehabilitation
Despite his severe injuries, Kyrylo continues to fight for his recovery. He is undergoing intensive rehabilitation in the Modrychi Rehabilitation Center. A day with a relative who takes care of a patient in this center costs 5,600 UAH, and the price of rehabilitation for one month is 173,600 UAH ($4,234). Gradual recovery and adaptation to new living conditions require considerable effort and support from both medical staff and family.
