Oleksandr Ivanov is a forty-two-year-old soldier who defended Kyiv region as part of a DIU (Defence Intelligence of Ukraine) unit from the first days of the full-scale invasion. He was awarded by the President of Ukraine for his courage.
History of the injury
During a combat mission on 5 June 2022 in Lyman, Oleksandr was seriously injured as a result of a minibus explosion in which he was with his comrades-in-arms, including Masi Nayem. As a result of his injuries, Oleksandr was in a coma for 1.5 months.
Diagnosis
Severe traumatic brain injury, the status of а person with war-related disabilities of the I group.
Rehabilitation
With all his efforts and resources, Oleksandr bravely underwent rehabilitation in various medical institutions. Now he is in the Modrychi Rehabilitation Center in Lviv, where he is undergoing rehabilitation at his mother's expense, but he needs our help and support more than ever.
A day with a relative who takes care of a patient costs 5600 UAH in this center, and the monthly price of rehabilitation is 173,600 UAH ($4,234). Oleksandr's mother, thanks to the help of relatives and the media, managed to raise 45,000 UAH, so we need to raise 132,000 UAH ($3,216).

The planned duration of staying is 1 month, which is equivalent to 132,000 UAH ($3,216).
The After Service Foundation has covered one month of rehabilitation costs for Oleksandr, amounting to $2,381.
