The Charitable Organization Charity Fund “Pislya Sluzhby” and the Ukrainian National Bar Association will help Ukrainian veterans achieve success after military service and help in the successful adaptation of defenders of Ukraine.

Fears about life after the war

At the last meeting of the "Happy Hours" club, representatives of our Foundation conducted a small survey among our veterans about their fears about life after the war.

During the meeting, the Foundation's case manager, Anna, talked about the directions of her work, shared difficult medical cases that the Foundation encounters, presented a video about the successes of our veterans on their path to recovery and rehabilitation, about their new first steps and the changes that have taken place with them over the last six months, with the assistance of the Foundation.

In the program «People of Action» case managers of the Charitable Foundation «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service), Anna Glushkova and Oleksandr Vitsan. Charitable Foundation «Pislya Sluzhby» (After Service) supports Ukrainian veterans in achieving success after service. The organization's vision is to provide resources, prepare and promote the successful adaptation of Ukrainian veterans and reduce the number of suicides among military personnel.

A Difficult Path of Rehabilitation for Oleksandr after Traumatic Brain Injury

Oleksandr, who was in a very critical condition with little chance of survival, did not give up, thanks to the support of his wife. They fought, they persevered, no matter how hard it was. With the support of doctors, volunteers and Foundations, they were able to make Oleksandr get back on his feet.

Financing Expensive Rehabilitation for Veterans

One of the Fund's cases is rehabilitation assistance for a Hero, who served in a mortar battery and was severely injured in August 2022 near Pisky in the Donetsk region: first he received a gunshot wound, and then a mine explosive. He sustained serious injuries, including a spinal injury and spinal cord rupture, but unfortunately, the necessary operations are not carried out in Ukraine.

More than 500 participants gathered at this annual event, including Ukrainian veterans, defenders, representatives of the Ukrainian government, members of partner countries' governments, diplomats, the public, veteran organizations, business leaders and international partners.
